I installed on of these under the sink and it worked as intended. No poking holes in my copper pipes! Sweet! Then I noticed it drip a drop or two of water here and there - maybe a drop every hour...nothing bad. So, I checked with the guys at BRS and they reminded me I needed to use teflon on the threads! I would recommend teflon paste over the tape for this particular application, because after I wrapped the tape around the male end of the valve, it was difficult to thread the fitting on - and then I ended up cross threading it. My mistake! Great product, just be careful when installing and be sure to use teflon.
