If you're not running an HQI rig, these might be the very best looking 20,000K bulbs you can get - I really like their color.

I have two of these over my 50 gallon reef, and the light and color are perfect. The colors of my fish and corals POP w/o actinic supplementation. They are not too blue when run with an HQI ballast.

Love this bulb, replaced the stock bulb on a Biocube HQI with this and wow! What a difference! Love the color and how it makes the corals pop. I will be buying another one shorty to use for my frag tank!
