Product is as described but i have yet to use it. However i received one of 4 pieces without a gasket or nut. One email and a new one was sent to my home within days. Perfect customer service in my book.

After purchasing and outfitting a tank with several sizes of ABS bulkheads, I would strongly recommend anyone else purchasing bulkheads to invest the additional money for the schedule 80 ones. For only one reason. ABS ones crack when tightening up the threaded piping. I had 2 of these crack and had to change them out. The problem was you dont know they crack until the tank is filled with water and all of the sudden you notice the small fracture in the threads causing a persistent drip. The slip ones work great but buyer beware of overtightening on the ABS ones.

I purchased to plumb through my tanks to my pump and filter and back to my tanks. Out of 12 bulkheads 6 started leaking the next day and 2 others were cracked. Not at all happy with performance.

These seem to work just as well as the sch 80 bulkheads when installed correctly and have smaller hole requirements
