    just installed this on my tank and it has kept the temp much more stable than my previous ebo jager heaters. the controller is easy to program and i like that it has the high temp and low temp alarms to warn me about any problems. Good product at a good price

    Had a minor problem with the unit, people were great to deal with. Returned it for service with no problems at all and had it back working very fast. You can't ask for more than that

    Have two of the controls work great . Just need to add a temp. Cal button because I had to adjust temp down on one and up on other . The temp. That its reads is not always what it says .I guess no too are alike .

    the controller works fine
    the 800w finnex heat tube does not it went out after a month and the cost of shipping it back to finnex was $10 and somone said they will send it back postage due so if it cost me $20 to replace a $50 defective heat tube I feel I got cheater X2

    I bought this controller and the 800 watt heater for my 325 gallon system. It easily keeps the temp constantly at 78 despite my house being much cooler. I really like that it has a high temp alarm on the controller. Definitely a great product!

    Prior to adding this controller to my system, I had temperature variations of 4 to 5 degrees F. The unit is super accurate is advertised and will not lose it's setting with power outages like my prior German made controller.

    I used this with the Finnex 800W Titanium heating element and it worked well. If all you need is a reasonably priced controller this one is not bad, just stay away from the Finnex Heating elements. I replaced the 800w 3 times in a single year before giving up on them. If you have the extra money are also needing to control a chiller as well I would just pay the extra money and get a Ranco 2 stage controller.
