Great Product By Mark on 5/23/13Mark would recommend this product to a friendi am very happy with this product and BRS for their assistance. I have several Reefkeeper systems and always am very happy with their stuff. Would recommend to anyone
Good Product By Servillius on 4/29/13Servillius would recommend this product to a friendThese are great. I liked the one I received with my RKL so much, I have 3 on my new tank setup. Just the convenience of being able to turn everything on and off at one panel is nice. The solidly mounting plugs ionside the cabinet, even better.
Works well By Aron on 11/29/12Aron would recommend this product to a friendThis PC4 outlet lets you control 4 different parts of your aquarium with a pretty straightforward method through the display unit that comes with the reefkeeper. I think for durability it's pretty good but I've had the sticker labeling the sections on it come off which makes me question their quality. Also, it's quite expensive in my opinion but that's nothing new in this hobby.
Gets the job done By Micah on 4/27/12Micah would recommend this product to a friendGot the controller somewhere else but purchased the stripe here, and i got to say it could be buggie at times but not often like any other controller, just reset and calibrate and bingo . If you don't have one then get one it is a very very useful tool especially in a hobby that is complicated enough. one of the best purchases i have invested in. I would buy it here so you can add up points I wish I found this site when I first started ;)...
under average product and bad support By BOMBOM on 3/11/12BOMBOM wouldn't recommend this product to a friendi got this controller year ago, and i couldn’t be more disappointed.
the controller work fine if you are intending to use it only as a timer for your light(which you can do with 10$ timer unites rather than use this controller). but any other functionality like
- temperature control and reading
- PH reading and control
- collect statistics
- controlling chillers
- controlling fans
forget about it, anything except timers are buggy and always crash and give bad reading. i tried to contact the customer care, they were not useful at all, all what they will say is: calibrate the probs, restore the unit to factory default, or my personal favorite, wait for news software release.
i think getting other unites like the neptune is much better choice and better investment for the future/
Great Product By Todd on 2/9/12Todd would recommend this product to a friendGreat addition to the RKL and easy to set up. Well worth the money.
I like this product By Richard on 10/6/11Richard would recommend this product to a friendfilled my first pc4 bar up the first day i got my reef keeper light and now i need one more. I was a little Hesitant of buying a cotroller like the reef keeper light but for the cost and performance of this controller I could not go wrong, and now that bought one and set it up I dont know what I would do with out it it runs my hole tank. so if your thinking of up grading from power bars and timers this is for you
Love it By Ralph on 7/13/11Ralph would recommend this product to a friendI love the way I can keep adding more to the system. They are easy to hookup. My only problem is I keep finding ways to fill them up and need to get another.
Nice By firstname.lastname@example.org on email@example.com would recommend this product to a friendI love this Device! I use it to control everything. The heater option allows me to keep my temps with in .1 Degree and that's way better than trying to set it. Also I use an old heater that use to burn up and set the default to off and the RKL make this device work flawless. I also love that it can tell me amps as well as graph anything I want. It's the best add on you can buy!
Easy as pie! By jimmyjames on 9/13/10jimmyjames would recommend this product to a friendHooking this up and programming it is easy as pie, and works as it should, very happy customer!
adding to my Reefkeeper By cory drysdale on 9/7/10cory drysdale would recommend this product to a friendThis is the 3rd power supply Ive added to my system which constantly evolves in taking over running my entire system. The Reefkeeper Elite is such a great system with thought out products that you cant go wrong. These power bars are amazing. Im using them to run high load pumps right down to the non powered switches for my ATO.

Great PowerBar!!! By Patrick on 8/3/10Patrick would recommend this product to a friendDon't be fooled thinking that the systems that offer 8, or 16 power ports per bar are actually giving you anything more than DA in this case. The DA PC4 (as do all other bars that I'm aware) are rated for 15A, which isn't exactly hard to exceed in most cases as soon as you add anything with a heavy load (a simple T5 4x54w can push upwards of 4 amps!). While yes, in some cases with smaller loads it'd be nice to have one larger bar to place those on, they've rather spent the time putting in better relays for some of the channels, and have worked to ensure that the PC4 is the best quality currently available in most, if not all of the entry level controllers.

how many power bars in total can i add to the reef keeper lite plus package? , the equipment that i have requires me to have atleast 12 outlets, which is three power bars, thanks -juan
Bulk Reef Supply Hi Juan,
The reef keeper lite system can handle a maximum of 4 modules total. It can be any combinations of pc4's, sl1, etc. If you have no other modules at all, it can handle up to 4x pc4 modules.

connecting a chiller, what setting should the chiller be on, and the setting for the reefkeeper.
Bulk Reef Supply Hey Edmund,
When connecting a chiller I would use the chiller function of the reef keeper. I would set this the temp on the reef keepers chiller function to be a degree or two lower then what you set your chiller to. That way the chiller itself should always have power and be controlled by its own controller and should there be a failure and the chiller continues to run then the reefkeeper would act as the backup and cut the power.
The ReefKeeper PC4 Power Bar Module is an additional power bar for ReefKeeper Elites and Lites. The PC4 is not compatible with the ReefKeeper 2.
- IntellaStrip technology: most advanced power strip technology keeps your system running even if you have a device failure.
- Manual override mode lets you control the 4 outlets individually at the pc4 without having to navigate a complicated menu.
- 15AMP breaker/switch eliminates finding fuses and lets you shut down power quickly if needed
- LED status indicators for each channel and the overall unit.
- Strong convenient mounting tabs
- 4 button CapSense interface
- Current monitoring and safety override: IntellaStrip
- Relay channels rated to 8A max each
- Solid state channels rated to 3A each
- Power rating: 1800W (15A)
- Soft start/zero crossing
- One extended room outlet for Wall-bug
