In the manual and product pdf from hydor it says it works with a wave maker. bought 3 and none lasted more then 24 hours. Tried to contact hydor with 0.0% success.

work great in my nano tank.it move a lot more water than i thought it would. you can hear it has a noise issue.i thought it rotated on it own right to left but you can move it right or left. Brs has to be one of the best places i have bought from they are great to work with and i have not seen anyone pack as good as them.

This powerhead is great and economical. I use it in the 15g refugium section of my sump to stir up the incoming kalk/ATO drip and the surface water.

One downside... be very careful installing the powerhead into the suction cup. VERY easy to snap off the red connector/ball. Mine broke off trying to get it into the suction cup, but I was able to hang it in place via the cord against the sidewall of the sump.

This pump is smaller than a Rio 50, pushes over twice the water, and uses less power. In addition it comes with a rotating deflector to randomize flow in your tank. I highly recommend this for picos and nanos. I plan on buying 3 more for a total of 4 of these on a 20 gallon long tank. I will buy these again and do recommend other nano reefers to do the same!
