Kizmar would recommend this product to a friendI previously was using a Nutrafin test kit and it was hard to tell what the result was based on the color. You could get a general idea, but nothing like you can with this Red Sea test kit. I have 3 other Red Sea testers and love them all. -

Jim would recommend this product to a friendThis kit had different readings that my salifert which made me think it sucked at first however It made me try some other kits as well. They were all much closer to the red sea results. The more I read about salifert the more I question why I trusted them so much all these years. -

Terri wouldn't recommend this product to a friendThis kit reads consistently but reads WAY HIGHER than Salifert using the high and low range test methodology. Salifert results are .25 while Red Sea shows between 2 & 4ppm...I believe Salifert. -

Mike wouldn't recommend this product to a friendI have been very disappointed with this kit. The A bottle only drops between 2-4 drops before apparently getting clogged. Followed the instructions perfectly yet time after time the bottle clogged every time. Had high hopes for this as a premium alternative but very disappointed. I would not recommend. -

Marcus wouldn't recommend this product to a friendThe kit is accurate and consistent as far as I can tell. I have been through a set of reagents and are using the refills. The colors between the .50 - .75 range do not quite appear to match the color wheel. I keep getting more purple than pink which makes it hard to guess the actual level. I test for trends instead of actual numbers and this test works well for that. Sometimes the cadmium that is present in reagent A gets lodged in the tip of the bottle and I have to shake and tap it on the table to get the required 8 drops to come out. -

Bob A would recommend this product to a friendOk, when i first got this and saw that it took 9 minutes for the color to develop, I got a little peeved. But when I saw how easy it was to select the color representing the nitrates ppm, I quickly dismissed how long it took. I test nitrates first, then go about testing mag, cal, phos, and alk. By the time I am done with all those, the nitrates are ready to read. if you can kill 9 minutes waiting for the test to complete, its well worth buying this product.
