I'd purchase again By Michael on 3/14/2017Michael would recommend this product to a friendBought these for mounting zoas and misc encrusting corals to my over flows. I have an aqueon tank that has a double wall in the over flow and the hold great. My tank has 1/2 glass and hold strong. These are not meant to hold large heavy corals.
only works great for small frags By Robert on 12/14/2016Robert would recommend this product to a friendI bought a couple packs of these packs, I had a few smaller frags and they work good. When the frags get larger, they will slide down the glass or spin do to balance on plug. If you buy them keep in mind they won't be there permanently.
Great product By Robsyp on 12/6/2015Robsyp would recommend this product to a friendWorks great
Awesome By Justin on 2/10/2015Justin would recommend this product to a friendVery strong magnets perfect for a monti or even glueing 2 of them to some egg crate for a frag rack
Waste of $$$ By CaliO Coras on 4/2/2014CaliO Coras wouldn't recommend this product to a friendDoesn't hold anything more than a frag. If your coral isn't balanced wieght the plug will spin because one side weights more than the other.. Barely holds its self on a standard 90g glass (1/2")and can't hold it's self if the glass in painted..
I ruined a 2yr old montipora cap trying to use this product .. DONT MAKE THE SAME MISSTAKE!!!
Superglue held my monti in the end and the rest of the $2.50 plugs went to the trash! I wish I would have spent more and gotte the aquamags....
Recommend By Ron on 3/6/2014Ron would recommend this product to a friendVery strong magnets , great way to exploit unused real estate on the glass. They are a little on the pricey side in comparison to non magnetized discs
Great product By Kyle on 2/10/2014Kyle would recommend this product to a friendGreat for barebottom tanks or those of you trying to grow corals on the side of the aquarium. These little magnets are surprisingly strong. A little expensive if anything but how many sp of coral do you intend on growing attatched to the wall.
would not hold on my 75G By Justin on 5/7/2013Justin wouldn't recommend this product to a friendProduct states that it can hold on up to 1/2" glass, i found this not to be the case.
even with the most modest load they failed to hold on the walls of my standard 75G.
i ended up giving them away to a friend with a smaller tank and thinner walls. hopefully they work for him.
Love these By cbsopp on 5/6/2013cbsopp would recommend this product to a friendGreat idea and is perfect for montis or anything that you want to mount to the sides of your tank. The only drawback is I have a 180gal. tank and the magnets barely hold on. If a fish bumps it or the coral gets much heavier, it will fall. I suggest a larger magnet for a stronger hold through thicker glass.
Good epoxy on magnets. I like it! By CD on 2/21/2013CD would recommend this product to a friendI like the epoxy coat on the magnets. I think as long as they don't slam together (take care of your magnets), these will last a long time.
The discs are the same as the other pure Caribsea Reef Sand mag disks and I like them also .
The disks are flat on both sides with no recessed area for the magnet so you will have to glue the magnets to the bottom of the disk. Any super glue gel works great with these.
5/5 I just wish the price was a little bit cheaper.
Holding well By Dao on 9/30/2012Dao would recommend this product to a friendGot 8 of this disks. Great products. Mags holding very nice. The mags very small but can hold very good. I will buy more to finish my Zoa's backwall :))
great product By Thomas on 7/30/2012Thomas would recommend this product to a friendi mount all my sps to these plugs now. some are as big around as a softball. and it holds them no problem.
