What size tube does the python system use? The cpr states 3/4” but I use a 1/2” hose with a smaller sicce 1.5 pump because of finer sand on the bottom of the tank blowing around easily. Mostly wondering if the j hook will accept and hold 1/2” tubing.

The Python water change system uses 5/8" hose. The connection fittings are built on standard 3/4" garden hose threaded connections. The J hook in particular is only designed for filling the tank, and is not set up to connect to hose on the output side.
