  • would advise not to buy By Jim P on 7/15/2016

So like everyone else the tuning of the bubble rate was impossible but I just kept tinkering with it ( I love a challenge). Well at 1:30 this morning we were awakened by a horrible noise. When I went to my tank the CO2 canister was blowing CO2 (under high pressure) into the room. I closed the tank's valve and worked on venting the room. Upon inspecting the regulator the stem going into the gauge assembly had broken off. The actual wall of the stem is just over 1/16" even though it looks sturdy. It took 10min. to drop the pH 2.5, now I get to deal with the results.
  • Would not shut off By Steve on 6/4/2016

It would not shut off. Soleniod valve was defective from the first day of operation. not happy with this product or the customer service from Milwaukee at all. I am throwing it out and spending the money on a quality product.
  • Its good on a budget By sjdragonslayer on 12/18/2015

I purchased this regulator in a time crunch due to my old one failing on me. I intended to use it on my calcium reactor. I think the bad reputation Calcium reactors have compared to part is ther constant need to adjust the regulator. On my apex controller it worked ok, i did find myself tuning almost every other day. So i upgraded to teh plantedaquariums electronic regulator for my Calcium reactor, and this milwaukee on my planted tank. For this planted solution it is set and for get, i think the constant on and off from teh ph controller may have messed with it, not sure. But i would prefer it, the bubble counter is super easy to use and makes and extra piece of equipment go away. Dont forget your check valvue!
  • Simply a Bad Design By loknar28 on 12/10/2015

I have had this regulator for several years and it has never worked correctly. Like the other reviewers have mentioned it is almost impossible to dial in. It gets clogged and stops flow intermittently. I can't believe BRS still sells this for Milwaukee.
  • would not recommend By helldiver on 6/27/2015

I have been running this unit for over a year and have issues with dirt clogging the CO2 delivery. This is a issue since the CO2 flow will slow down or stop at randon times. Milwaukee knows about this since there are documented instructions on how to bore out the unit to widen the openings, but this is a short term fix.
the left gauge has never worked either was hard to dial in
Not a unit I can trust.
