Richard would recommend this product to a friendAdded this valve to the output of the carbon filters, but before RO, so I can easily obtain clean drinking water with out using the DI. Very easy to modify the system and install this valve. Don't know what people did before this type of valve was used. No leaks and easy to turn with any water pressure. -

William would recommend this product to a friendWhen I saw that I was passing over 100 TDS water through my DI cartridge the first few minutes of usage this valve was a no brainer. $20 might be hard to swallow at first but the long term value can't be beat to avoid TDS creep and how it will exhaust your DI resin. This is a must have for your RO/DI unit. -

One time, I did not connect the tube correctly and the slow leak made quite a mess. I now use one of these to switch the water to and from the drain to make cartridge flushing much quicker. -

The valve functions in the way you mention first. You can choose off, flow to the right, and flow to the left. If you have an application where you might also want them both on, you might be better off by installing a tee and two seperate ball valves. That way you can set it up to do all combinations.
