Great bio pellet reactor By jestforkicks on 4/2/12
jestforkicks would recommend this product to a friendi have had other reactors but all of them clogged after 4-5 days. when i bought this reactor i put 100ml of pellets in & it started tummbling like crazy. the pellets have no rest on the bottom of the reactore so there wont be any clogging. i have been running this reactor for 2 weeks now with know problem. its a great bio pellet reactor -

Christopher would recommend this product to a friendI have had this up for a day and looks like it out performs the TLF PhosBan Reactor no clumping and good movement of Bio Pellets. I had to turn down the pump about 3/4 of the way. -

plankton99 would recommend this product to a friendTHis is my third reactor, others just kept clumping or stagnant after use. I tried the Bubble Magus BR70, it was horrible, this JNS Alpha 1 is sooo easy to use, works great, easy refilling, easy pump adjustment, quiet. awesome. Get this one! you wont regret it. -

Jason aka soverjas would recommend this product to a friendmy only regret is I didn't spend the extra few dollars and the alpha 2. This reactor uses 2 jets to spin the bio pellets like a tornado so it doesnt clump together like down draft reactors are known to do. This isn't a reactor designed for other medias that can be modified for bio pellets this is a reactor designed specifically for them. This replaced a reactor I paid twice as much for and still had to buy a pump to operate and doesn't work near as well. This reactor comes with a pump and the quality of the build is very sturdy. again my only regret not getting the larger reactor for a few more dollars. I did find the pellets spun better after being soaked for a day in RO water. Only con is it says its rated for 500ml of pellets but i found it performs better with 400ml which for my application will work well.

JNS Biopellet Reactors have a fluidizing plate design to help keep the Biopellet in suspension and evenly disperse the water upwards. A special plate on the lid keeps the Biopellets within the reactor without sponges. This reactor is unique in that it comes with the pump preinstalled in the chassis of the reactor base.
