Good Quality By Jim on 6/27/2014Jim would recommend this product to a friendThe reactor is well built, easy to setup in minutes and does not leak. For the reactor itself the only complaint is the included micro ball valve which is near impossible to adjust and clogs constantly. Operationally it is pretty much silent and nice having the pump physically mounted to the reactor base.
As for the pump this ad still clearly states it includes a Eheim 1048 and what I got was a Eheim universal 600. Of course BRS sent the wrong reactor the first time with a 600 and I had to wait close to two weeks before I got the correct product back which came back with a Eheim 600.
Excellent product By Ray on 6/5/2014Ray would recommend this product to a friendI purchased this with the memorial day discount and I am very impressed. Great craftsmanship, and materials. Awesome reactor. Money well spent and easy to dial in.
Nice By Keep w program dori on 12/17/2013Keep w program dori would recommend this product to a friendStill new so can't Give long-term. First unit shipped without a pump this an error by geo. Got the new pump and I'm up. It's very good construction. And everything is super solid. Got it dialed in after two days. The upflow design seems to work really well recycling co2.
Recommend a 2 stage regulator to dial in the bubble count.
Missing PUMP By Peter on 12/3/2013Peter wouldn't recommend this product to a friendAfter reading other reviews of other models and raves at reef central I decided to give this item a shot. A shot I never expected, brand new out the box and missing the ehiem pump.
This thing was damn thing is not cheap and its missing a pump. Never again I will buy from this company. More than likely it was a rush job.......now I lam left hanging.

Do you need a feed pump or is it ready to go? just want to make sure I have everything if I buy.
Bulk Reef Supply Hey Jason,
There is a handful of things you will need to pick up for a calcium reactor. First of all, a feed pump as you mentioned. Something fairly small/cheap is ideal here. If your not going a long distance the aqualifter pump should do the trick. You will also need a CO2 tank and regulator/solenoid to supply and control the CO2 (I prefer the Milwaukee Regulator/solenoid combo as its inexpensive and works well). Lastly you will need the media, generally the coarser is easier to work with. All of them can be found at the links below:
