Quick Overview

Leaks can cause tremendous amounts of damage.  By having a simple leak detector on your RODI system is a great insurance policy against floods.  The Flow-lok Leak Detectors have 1/4" push connect fittings that work with all of the BRS RODI systems.  With a highly absorbent replaceable Leak Detector Pad when water is detected it will expand and trip the Flow-Lok Safety lever to stop the flow of water.

  • Great Product By David on 1/7/2016

I thought this was a great product. My on complaint is I wish the screws provided were longer. They are barely long enough to protrude from the bottom and not long enough to dig into anything far enough to hold it. With the pressure of lines going in/out of it, you need screws that can dig down into your wood surface. I ended up buying something from the hardware store, but the diameter was a little to big and I was concerned I would crack the housing using them. It worked out but I really wish they had just supplied adequate screws. I also wish there was a 2nd expanding sponge so that if and when the one you have is triggered you already have a spare.

I like these, they're a leak Detector that doesn't require a controller. They just shut off a 1/4" RODI line if they get wet. One problem, which I feel is a major design flaw, is the screws supplied are too short. They only have about one thread exposed on the bottom which cannot grab into wood easily. One size longer would be much better.
