Combined with Ultra Lith and Ultra MINs to provide a safe and easy method for maintaining extremely low nutrient water and vibrant colors in a reef tank.

Fauna Marin Ultra Bak Bacteria Food Concentrate

Recommended Manufacturer's Dosing:

Dose Daily 2 - 5 mL per 1000 L or per 250 gallons depending on nutrient concentration and lifestock density. Please do all changes in the aquarium slowly and carefully.

If you have a more mature tank with high nutrient concentrations, first reduce the phosphate concentrations with a product like Fauna Marin Ultra Phos before using Ultra Bak. Reduce the dose of Ultra Bak by 75% and increase the dose every two weeks by 10%. Monitor your water parameters very carefully. Slimey film on the glass and/or the rocks indicates the dose is too high.
