Just found out about ESV dried marine Phytoplankton coral food.
Could you please explain more about the time release?
Also, do we really need it if we feed Reef Chili?
What is the best advantage of it?
Bulk Reef Supply Hey Alex,
The time release really just means that it comes in larger pieces. As the plankton works its way around the aquarium and goes through pumps it will break down into single cells.
Reef chili has a few very similar ingredients so if you happen to already use it then there shouldn't be any major reason to add this as well :-)
ESV has created the Dried Marine Phytoplankton to improve on the Spray Dried Marine Phytoplankton. Contains 65% more highly unsaturated fatty acids. Larger particles will eventually break down into single cells. Versatile food source for your tank's inhabitants.
