  Do you have to use equal amounts of each . My calcium is at 370 , would like to raise it to 400 . kh is at 10 and dont want it higher. Can i increase the daily amount of the part 2 calcium additive only. Mag is at 1275

  You always want to have the two matched in terms of daily dosing as corals always consumed calcium and alkalinity in the same fixed ratio. That said though, if you want to raise your calcium to a particular level you can maintain your normal daily dosing and just make a one time addition.

  I'm confused about something. Why is a 1 gallon package of the BRS 2 part so much more expensive then the ESV 1 gallon package? I realize Mag doesn't come with the ESV package but even with it's addition it's a lot less expensive then the BRS solution. Not only that but I won't have to do any mixing with the ESV package.

  Great question! The difference comes in what your buying 1g of, the BRS 1g package is 1g containers of the dry reagents, which make 6-8g of solution, compared to the ESV kit which is for 1g containers of the solution (though you still have to add more water so still mixing involved). So in short, the BRS kit makes a lot more solution! The BRS package is actually significantly cheaper all said and done with.
