Whats the difference between this sealant and your adhesive 10 ounce? Which would be better for adding baffles to my sump and attaching a overflow box?

Great question! Either type of silicone will work just fine for your applications. I personally like the black silicone and used it for my frag tank's overflow box and I also touched up some sump baffles. :-)

I'm wanting to install an overflow in an established aquarium. I can drain the water below the level where the overflow will be. How long before I can fill the tank back up without the possibility of chemical leaching and damaging the silicone seal.

It would be quite risky to attempt on a full system. The silicone should set within 48 hours for the curing process. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!
