love it By harry on 2/26/14harry would recommend this product to a friendlow dust, works great, cannot think of one complaint
Great product By Michael on 12/31/13Michael would recommend this product to a friendIt does require a large amount of pre-rinsing with DI water prior to using. It normally removes all particles in the tank in a 1-2 day time frame.
excellent product By rob on 10/5/13rob would recommend this product to a friendworks great at keeping the water clear
Lignite Carbon By J on 10/5/13J would recommend this product to a friendSo far so good. Small particle Lignite carbon has made my water crystal clear. Great product.
Good Price, Good Product. By cwagner on 8/26/13cwagner would recommend this product to a friendClears my water right up. works great in BRS reactor. Kinda dusty but they warn you about that.
works great with caution By Dwilk on 7/16/13Dwilk wouldn't recommend this product to a friendWorks great at making your water sparkle. But will probably give your fish HLLE (Head and Lateral Line Erosion)
Cost Effective! By Eric on 7/5/13Eric would recommend this product to a friendHave tried the Rox but have settled on this carbon option. It's the most cost effective carbon solution IMO.
Works in BRS reactor By Vincent on 4/14/13Vincent would recommend this product to a friendproduct works well in BRS reactor
Great reeling product! By Felixpaws on 3/13/13Felixpaws would recommend this product to a friendThe small size has more surface area for adsorption, and fills the space better, than the large granule. Works well, in reef environments, with little rinsing required.
Works great but hard to get water flow. By Isaac on 2/28/13Isaac would recommend this product to a friendThis has cleaned up my water very well and thus I would recommend it to a friend but I might recommend that he try the large particle version as it seems I can not find a pump that can comfortably push water through the small particle stuff.
Crystal Clear By Samuel on 1/3/13Samuel would recommend this product to a friendI never thought I could have this clear of water til I started using BRS carbon. As soon as I use up my gallon of small particle carbon I will be trying out ROX.
Good enough for me By greg on 9/15/12greg would recommend this product to a friendI havent tried the premium stuff yet, dont know if I will. This stuff made a difference in my water clarity, especially when used in a reactor. This definitely beats the marineland stuff and pretty much anything else. you can tell the difference.

Which Bulk Catalytic Activated Carbon is equivalent to that provided in your Chloramine filter kit?
Bulk Reef Supply Hi Bob,
It is actually different from all of the aquarium carbons. Because the surface activated carbon for chloramines is used in the RO units its actually in the RO/DI filters category and can be found at the link below:

|All of our carbons work well in the BRS reactor which is our suggested method of utilizing carbon in the aquarium.|
BRS Lignite Carbon will outperform competing brands for less. The primary function of carbon is to remove color pigments, pollutants, and medications from an aquarium. Each has a larger molecule structure and requires a carbon with a pore size large enough to effectively remove them. Our Lignite Carbon contains a high number of large pores capable of removing these molecules.
We purchase our carbon directly from the manufacturer so we can offer the best carbon at reasonable prices. While most companies claim their carbon is the best, our statement is backed with true science and real numbers.
BRS Bulk Lignite Carbon comes in small or large particles. Large particles are easier to work with, while the small particles will be slightly more efficient.
SPECIAL NOTE: Lignite carbon contains more dust because it is softer. Be gentle when rinsing and do not tumble the material in a reactor which will create more fines. Carbon is most effective at slow flow rates. For a harder carbon with low dust please try BRS Premium ROX 0.8 Carbon.
