  How often should the Reverse Osmosis Membrane be replaced?

  Assuming the membrane is treated properly (on-time prefilter changes, etc) you can generally expect to get 3-5 years out of them, and if treated really well they can even last much longer.

  I have a 75 GPD 5 stage RO system from you and just added a 150 gallon upgrade kit and a 8800 booster pump. The water pressure is 80 PSI is that too much or is it ok to have that much water going into the first membrane? I just don't want to blow out my membrane and have to replace it. All the parts for this system are from Bulk Reef Supply so you know exactly what my sustem is.

  Bulk Reef Supply Hey Jerry,
  80psi is right about the max you want to go into the unit but it will not hurt the membrane so no worries there :-) In fact they will typically work a bit better as pressure goes up. If you see the pressure going much higher then that, then I would look into getting a pressure reducing valve just to keep it under 80psi.

  Does this come with a new flow restrictor?

  The membrane itself does not come with a flow restrictor. They do not need to be replaced as regular maintenance though. The only time you should need to change a flow restrictor is if you are changing the speed of your membrane. If thats the case then you would want to pick up a matching one right here:

  Will this membrane work in my WATTS WF031 Unit? The membrane housing looks like the one you offer. What about the tails on each end?

  The membranes themselves are universal, the only catch is that if you change the size of the membrane you must also change the size of the flow restrictor to the correct corresponding size.

  Does this fit in a coralife unit ?

  It will. Pretty much all membranes for household use are the same size. The only catch is that if you change the speed of the membrane (from say a 50gpd to a 75gpd) you will also want to replace the existing flow restrictor with the matching one. If you need one they can be found at the link below, if you already have a 75gpd unit then it is not necessary.
