  Does the RO faucet have to be used or can the drinking water line be ran to a refrigerator?

  Bulk Reef Supply Hey Patrick,
  You can run the line to the fridge but its hard to say whether it will work properly with your fridge or not. Different models require different levels of feed pressure. Some higher then others. The water pressure from the storage tank will also vary depending on the feed pressure from your tap and other factors, and it will decline quickly as the tank empties.
  
  To maximize the chances that it will work I would suggest adding a permeate pump. It can replace the auto shut off valve and allows you to get more pressure in the tank (and also will reduce the amount of waste water produced). It essentially uses the pressure from the waste water to pack the product water into the storage tank, eliminating the effects of back pressure from the tank and raising the point at which the pressure turns the unit off.

  Is the filters configured in a way where the ro water only is supplied to the drinking water prior to the di filter and only the supply for aquarium goes through both ro and di filters?

  You are correct. The unit creates the water, the water is then split to two directions. One direction goes to the storage tank and drinking water, which is RO only, and there is a check valve that prevents the water from coming back out of the tank and to the DI. The other direction goes to the DI and the output of the DI will be your aquarium water.

  Does this come with a auto shut off?

  It sure does. With the exception of the 3 stage unit, all of the BRS RO/DI units come with the auto shut off valve installed on the unit.
