  what is the required input water pressure for this unit to operate?

  Bulk Reef Supply Hey Matt,
  The 75gpd membranes are specified at 75gpd at 50psi (and 77F temp). They will operate with reduced performance down to around 30ish psi, below that a booster pump would be necessary in order for it to operate (and would likely still be a good idea from 30-40psi).

  It comes with the unit, the filters, 10ft of each color tubing and 2 different adapters for connecting to your water supply. Should be all set right from the get-go!

  Is the resin in the DI cartridge on the BRS 4 RO/DI the color changing type?

  It sure is. We include color changing DI resin inside of a refillable cartridge on all of our RO/DI units.

  how would i know when to change to the filters on the ro/do

  Bulk Reef Supply Hey Dave,
  The 4 stage Plus has a variety of tools on it to help you know its time to change the filters. The TDS meter will give you the best heads up on when to change your DI stage. When your DI resin is still good you can expect to get 000 TDS out of the DI stage. When you see that go up its time to change your DI. The TDS meter can also help you figure out when its time to change your prefilters as well. While there isn't a specific number as it will vary with water quality, if you see a big increase in the TDS going into the DI it would indicate you may need to change your prefilters. As pre filters clog it will also usually be indicated by a drop in pressure on the pressure gauge.
  
  As a rule of thumb as well, you can generally expect to change the sediment filter at 3000 gallons and the carbon block at 6000 gallons. Note: this is in total gallons (waste+product).
