Christopher would recommend this product to a friendI have this pump down in the basement on my 300 gal sump. Flow is amazing at 15 ft head. I have the same problem if my pump is shut off momentarily. I will try the check valve. All in all, I love it. -

Tim would recommend this product to a friendThis pump is very quiet. I followed the instructions changed the impeller to the barracuda and it works great, I can barely hear it. I did have an issue that when I had a power glitch for 15 seconds or less the rushing water coming back would spin the impeller backwards. (14' head) I called reef flow and they were very helpful. I decided to use a check valve to prevent this. -

Seth would recommend this product to a friendThis pump was by far the best value for high head pressure that I could find. The pump works well so far, but it is alot more noisey then I would like. It tends to be louder the more you restrict the pump discharge line. I now have to find a way to dampen out the sound.
