  Our community will be using Chloramines in the drinking water soo. How can I upgrade my BRS Stage 5 Plus unit to include the filtering of this?

  If you have a 5 stage plus unit and your water supply just switched to chloramines, all you need to do is pick up our 5 stage chloramines upgrade kit. It can be found at the link below. You just need the kit the first time, from then on out you can just purchase the 5 stage chloramines replacement filter kit for your unit.

  Mark Callahan did a piece on his Friday Quick Tip where he added a second DI membrane to increase production from 75 gal/day to 150 gal/day and cuts waste water production by half..
  The 'upgrade' included necessary fittings, cartridge, canister and support clip. Do you market this upgrade as a kit and what is the cost.

  Is the brs 5 stage ro/di filter replacement package suitable for drinking the filtered water

  Bulk Reef Supply Hey Mathew,
  It is generally not advised to drink DI water. But you could tee off the unit before the DI stage to get RO only water for drinking. If its one of our RO/DI units (as well as most units out there) you could just use a simple 1/4" tee. An extra valve would also be handy to turn that line on/off. Keep in mind that without a pressurized tan, etc, you won't have any stored water on demand so its going to come out at a trickle. I have also included a link below to a pressurized tank kit which would be the best bet if you want to use your unit for drinking water.
