Lance would recommend this product to a friendI purchased two of these 1" bulkheads for my custom overflow for my 40B mixed reef display w/ 40B sump (one as the main, the other for emergency drain).
As of approximately one week from now, these will have been in constant use for two years, removed once for a tank breakdown and move.
Never leaked, easy to use, easy to remove, great fittings. No problems. -

Joshua would recommend this product to a friendOverall I think this is a good product, does seem a bit sturdier than the older bulkhead that came with my previously owned tank. However, the fit between the female threaded bulkhead and the male threaded PVC adapter was not very sound. I had to use about 12 wraps of teflon tape to make a good seal. Not sure if this is an issue with the bulkhead or PVC adapter--but watch for leaks! I would buy this product again. -
