Ho long is this section of tubing?
Question by: Ronald Guertin on Jan 30, 2016 1:30:00 PM
Great question!
This is replacement tubing for inside of the doser. This will be around 5" long. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!

Do I need some sort of grease to put on it before i install a new one?
Question by: Matt on Apr 29, 2014 3:05:00 PM
Hi Matt,
Not with the BRS doser tubing. The tubing is santoprene and is self lubricating.

I have 2 BRS Dosers. What size tubing will I need?
Question by: Ron on Dec 1, 2013 1:08:00 AM
Hey Ron,
The dosing pumps use compression fittings that will give you a little bit of leeway but the most commonly used is 1/4" tubing like those used for RO/DI units (though most opt for the clear version). The pump itself also comes with over 15ft of tubing right in the box.
Answer by: Bulk Reef Supply on Dec 1, 2013 1:08:00 AM
Does this come with one or two replacement tubes?
Question by: Bryce on Dec 10, 2013 3:07:00 PM
Hi Bryce,
This product is a single replacement tube.

I had let my suction line get plugged and old tube had flattened, it was a year old anyway. Replacement tube returned pump to operational status.

It's a snap to replace, up and running in 5 min. Unit is complete with fittings. Keeping the old one as a backup spare, still good, but replace after 4 yrs

I just swapped mine out after a year of usage. I installed my pumps in a difficult to reach spot behind my sump which made these a little tricky to replace. I would suggest you mount your pumps where you can get to them easily. That said, they were not hard to replace.

I change mine once a year, changing them is so easy I'm done in minutes. Never had a problem with them but change them just for peace of mind.
