A calcium reactor that can do the splits?
The Vertex RX-6 was one of my favorite calcium reactors so I was really excited to see its replacement. Its really impressive the way Vertex has managed to bring new features to a technology that has been around for a very long time. The first thing you may notice from afar is that the there is a flow meter front and center on the calcium reactor. No more counting drops!
The biggest improvement in the reactor is its flexibility. Both chambers of the calcium reactor can be removed from their base and relocated. For example the secondary media chamber (great place for more calcium reactor media, dolomite if you use it, etc) can be relocated wherever you like it. The main chamber/pump can be relocated from their base as well, so it needs to be twisted a bit to make it fit, no problem at all. If you need to rotate the chamber a bit and put the secondary chamber in the shelf next to it, no problem there either! Hopefully we will see this in the US in the near future.
