Mac would recommend this product to a friendJust the right size for my 50 gallon tank. One thing I do not like is that
the mounts for the light is to tall. At night the light shines down into the main tank. I wish there was some sort of shield or the light was mounted lower to keep the light out of my main tank at night. -

Rick of More would recommend this product to a friendI like it because it hangs on back and out of sight. Didn't have the room under the stand or in the sump for a refugium. Great alternative when your out of space. Helps keep the water were it needs to be. -

AquaFuge2 is a great solution for growing and harvesting macro algae for nutrient control. Included compact florescent light fits the size and shape of the refugium and provides light for the macro algae to grow. The refugium also creates a safe harbor for macrofauna to reproduce which helps maintain thriving populations of copepods and amphipods. Redesigned with a black acrylic backing to prevent light from transferring to the main aquarium. A powerhead and unique baffle system prevent substrate and organisms from being disturbed yet allows enough water to flow through to eliminate any stagnant areas.
