If they are still very small and can find there way through the cones into the trap, then it wouldn't be an issue. For bigger ones you would likely want to use a fish trap. It is more manually intensive but they have a large door held up by fish line. Once the shrimp enters the trap, you let go of the fish line and the door shuts.
Bait the Trap Pest from the top and trap bristle worms as well as disruptive crabs and snails.
