Filling an empty DI cartridge. by Bulk Reef Supply

Filling a empty DI cartridge is rather simple if you follow these instructions.

  • 1) Unscrew the cap on the bottom and remove the foam ring.
  • 2) Pour your fresh DI resin into the cartridge and pack it down as hard as you can.
  • 3) Put the foam ring back inside the screw cap, you will see there is a peg that goes inside the hole in the foam ring. Screw the cap on.
  • 4) Take note of the arrow on the side that points up and says this end up. Making sure the arrow stays pointing up , replace the newly filled cartridge into your RO/DI system.
