We like to use these for dosing two part. They are nice because you can simply pour in your alkalinity or calcium solution and the unit will slowly drip it into the tank for you. This removes the chore of having to slowly pour your 2 part and insures that it is not added to fast for the safety of your tank. It comes with a couple of suction cups that can attach to the side of your sump. We recommend placing it over an area of the sump with high flow. It also breeds brine shrimp : ) Aqua Medic offers the Aquabreed 200, a cultivation unit which provides a simple and easy hatching system for artemia cysts. The unit is installed within the aquarium, where it uses the warmth of the aquarium water to assist the hatching process. Each Aquabreed 200 includes the 200 reactor, air line tubing with valve, 7g of artemia salt, and 10 ml of Life A (decapsulated artemia cysts).
