Tonga Shelf Eco RoX are a fantastic way to create caves or other unique looks that would be impossible to create with other types of rock. Most of the pieces are large but range from 6" to well over two feet. There are general size selections below, if you would like something more specific please make note during checkout and we will do our best to accommodate. Tonga Shelf is best used in combination with other types rock like the Fiji base rock. Eco RoX are extremely porous and completely dry. This makes them much lighter then live rock resulting in more volume for less money. There is no need for the costly expedited shipping methods required for shipping live rock. Eco RoX are free of nuisance algae and pests that are the most common causes for complete tank tear downs. Our rock is guaranteed to be free of apitasia, bubble algae, parasitic isopods, mantis shrimp, acro eating flat worms, little red bugs, fire worms, predatory nudibranchs, pyramidellid snails and other common pests We recommend 3/4 -1 pound of Eco RoX per gallon of water depending on how much rockwork you prefer.
