I mean... IDK By William on 9/5/2016William wouldn't recommend this product to a friendI am going to rate these the same way that I did on the actual Julian's thing, they're just Ok. I have great respect for Julian Sprung, he has accomplished great things for the hobby, but this product is not a "must have" thing for me. You don't get your arms wet which is cool I guess, but it's a pain to assemble and it doesn't hold pressure in the tip.
Must Have By Matthew on 8/7/2015Matthew would recommend this product to a friendIf you use the tool you really should buy the extra tips. If you feed a variety of food like I do than you will end up cutting back a tip or two to accept meatier foods and if you don't have spares you can't go back to feeding zoo or phyto based foods without it leaking out of the tips.
Works great By Huff on 2/2/2015Huff would recommend this product to a friendIf you cut the tip back you lose a lot of the pressure> Its better the way it came for cleaning off the rocks. The thing is basically great better for that than anything else I have used at any price.
Good to have options for different foods By Jeff on 12/21/2013Jeff would recommend this product to a friendIt is really good to have multiple tips as the stock tip is great for liquids, but easily logged by anything else. Having multiple allows me to cut the tips to feed different foods and supplements into the tank without too much back pressure. If you buy Julians Thing, buy these as well so that you can get full use out of your investment.
You need extra tips! By Jaculus on 12/11/2013Jaculus would recommend this product to a friendI love my "Julian's Thing" It's perfect to spot feed certain fish and corals. Its also great to pump water to specific spots to spot clean debris or sand off corals. So having a few extras of these allows you to cut the tip off at different sizes to allow for different types of food. I use the shipped tip for the Reef Chili (GREAT PRODUCT ALSO!) since it is so small. But then for Brine shrimp or even Mysis shrimp I have to cut the tip a little more to allow the food to go through the tip. Seriously its not that much more to just buy a few extras when you buy the "Julian's Thing" Its worth the extra $$
